Have you ever seen a light rail system being built? Well I asked these construction workers how they do it. I had always thought it was one solid mass, but actually it is several smaller pieces glued and bolted together. Here you can see each piece individually suspended while workers put them all together. There are actually men working inside the empty space of these segments. Each piece is held up by 4 lengths of chain which are all connected to this huge yellow machine which spans two entire lengths of track. Pretty interesting eh?

So we've been having really nice (but cold) weather here in Seattle. It's a good view from the Space Needle (left) to the Smith Tower (right).

Planning on a good night out I'm sure there will be some photographic evidence for you all.
