Flying Home

I'm flying home today. This was my window seat from my flight from Nantucket to Boston. I live flying cape air, they're all so friendly and happy. Very true. Anyway, next up is flying from Boston to snowy Portland. I'll spend the night there and then attempt a drive up to Seattle to see my family of friends and to have a farewell brunch on Sunday. I'm looking forward to it, but I've had such a great time this week, I'm having a hard time focusing on next week.

I'm about half way done memorizing my city codes (I leave march 6). I'm really looking forward to it, but at the same time I'm very stressed. It feels like such a huge step, and although I often think of myself as happy-go-lucky... I'm pretty nervous about this.

Ok that's all for now. I got some amazing shirts here on the east coast and can't wait to start bagging them. :)

Bags bags bags, yeah.

Sooo. I've started making these little bags. And with the help of one very talented Donald Dallaire I can also say I now know how to use a surger as well!

Thanks Donald.

Im going to be making several of these bags over the next few weeks and will try to sell them for 5-10 dollars each. We shall see how it all turns out. Keep you posted.

Study Break!

Well it has begun. I've started a journey that will take me to many many different places…
As I'm studying over the next few weeks please check back with some periodical updates, photos ad randomness. I haven't used this blog in quite a while, so sit down, and hang on!

wow.. it's been a long long time..

So we went to Vegas for New Year's Eve.  This was probably the best trip of 2008.  We arrived early on Wednesday and stayed until Saturday.  What an amazing trip.  I really will remember this for a long time, oh yeah plus it was Steve's Birthday.

This a nice little pic of strip, and the Roller Coaster at New York, New York..  etc.

WE had the CRAZIEST winter storm the week leading up to Xmas.  I'm talking shut down PDX/SEA and batten down the hatches.  It was crazy.  This is a pic at my parent's house on Xmas morning.  I was on call, but as you can see, I wasn't going anywhere.
Here is a pic from the SEA ramp access door on 12/21.  Crazieness.  Geez.
First annual (for me) Santa Con

Labor Day

As I walk down these stairs, my heart rate begins to slow, my breaths become increasingly slower, and I have an over all good vibe throughout my body.  This is where we come to relax, where we come to get away from our everyday-lives.  And even though it takes nearly 20 hours to get here from the west coast, it is so worth it.
Nantucket an island of only about ten-thousand people swells to over fifty-thousand in the summer, with tourists, day-trippers, and summer residents.  But for nearly 100 years it has been called home to our family.  Sadly my trip this time, is quite short, only 4 days including travel.  I will be back though, in the late fall, I hope.  Here are some more pictures for you to enjoy.
