wow.. it's been a long long time..

So we went to Vegas for New Year's Eve.  This was probably the best trip of 2008.  We arrived early on Wednesday and stayed until Saturday.  What an amazing trip.  I really will remember this for a long time, oh yeah plus it was Steve's Birthday.

This a nice little pic of strip, and the Roller Coaster at New York, New York..  etc.

WE had the CRAZIEST winter storm the week leading up to Xmas.  I'm talking shut down PDX/SEA and batten down the hatches.  It was crazy.  This is a pic at my parent's house on Xmas morning.  I was on call, but as you can see, I wasn't going anywhere.
Here is a pic from the SEA ramp access door on 12/21.  Crazieness.  Geez.

Labor Day

As I walk down these stairs, my heart rate begins to slow, my breaths become increasingly slower, and I have an over all good vibe throughout my body.  This is where we come to relax, where we come to get away from our everyday-lives.  And even though it takes nearly 20 hours to get here from the west coast, it is so worth it.
Nantucket an island of only about ten-thousand people swells to over fifty-thousand in the summer, with tourists, day-trippers, and summer residents.  But for nearly 100 years it has been called home to our family.  Sadly my trip this time, is quite short, only 4 days including travel.  I will be back though, in the late fall, I hope.  Here are some more pictures for you to enjoy.

iPhone 3G

Well well well, it has finally come to lite. The new iPhone 3G. Hmmm well I must say that I'm am excited about the 3G'ness of the phone, but my current one (aka 2G I guess) works just fine on the AT&T network. I still use WiFi most of the time. It will also be interesting to see how AT&T's 3G network will hold up in July when all these new iPhones latch on to the network. I would have to say the thing I am most excited about is the App. Store. And that will beavailable to all iPhone users who update to iPhone2.0. I'll keep an eye out and let you all know asap. The reason why I've had no photos recently is because work has been slooooooow. And there haven't been many things to photograph. Pride is coming up so I'll be sure to post photos from this weekend. :)

This was taken at sunset in Palm Springs. These desert sunsets are really amazing.

Josh and I took my little sister (Anna) on a hike. Although she didn't have enough in her to make it to the top, I took this picture and showed her what she missed. She made it only half way up. This is Multnomah Falls in the Gorge of Oregon. We are about 1,000 feet up at this location.
